BEUNINGEN MUNICIPALITY - A strategic long term plan
Beuningen is a community of around 25.000 in the Eastern part of Holland. The Holland Branding Group was asked to prepare a strategic long term plan for the municipality. The plan addresses all aspects of local governance, including spatial planning, infrastructure, housing developments, but also social services, environmental strategies and local administrative arrangements. The planning process includes an interactive work process with the citizens of Beuningen.
The Strategic Plan for the municipality was approved by the Municipal Council in September 2009. The product is rooted in core values and the future identity that was established in an interactive process with community grous and stakeholders.
Urban Progress Studio is a key partner of the Holland Branding Group and contributes all spatial aspects of the project. Luc Vrolijks and Age Fluitman provided an urban design analysis and a regional analysis and they prepared proposals for the long term future of the community.
