ROTTERDAM REGIONAL HOUSING PLAN - Strategic urban study on public and private housing
The Regional Authority for Greater Rotterdam is responsible for ensuring adequate housing in the region. The region, with a bit over 1 million inhabitants, faces great challenges with its housing. A key document to guide the development is the Regional Housing Policy Document. The plan proposes to channel investments in housing towards projects that support the economic vitality of the region. The housing policy was developed in close consultation with the 18 municipalities concerned. The document was approved in March 2003 and several follow-up activities have been implemented.
